Lifebonder Community Guidelines

A. Illegal Content

Content that is considered illegal under any applicable law, including but not limited to:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any material that exploits or abuses minors, including images, videos, or any other media.
• Terrorism and Hate Speech: Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites terrorism, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
• Fraud and Scams: Content that attempts to deceive users or engage in fraudulent activities, such as phishing, identity theft, or financial scams.
• Copyright Infringement: Content that violates intellectual property laws, such as sharing pirated media or other copyrighted works without permission.

B. Violent Content

Content that promotes or glorifies violence, harm, or injury to individuals or groups, including:

• Graphic Violence: Explicit depictions of physical harm, gore, or injuries.
• Threats of Harm: Any content that threatens or encourages violence or harm toward others, including verbal threats or imagery of violence.
• Bullying and Harassment: Content that targets individuals with the intent to harass, intimidate, or cause emotional harm.

C. Sexually Explicit Content

Content that is sexually explicit or intended to arouse the viewer will be moderated. However, Lifebonder allows users to access educational or consensual discussions on sexuality only if they opt in to see such content. Users must tick a content setting box to access this material, ensuring it remains restricted to those who actively choose to engage with it and in the following contexts:

• Educational Content: Content that seeks to educate users on sexual health, relationships, and consent in a responsible and non-exploitative manner. This can include articles, videos, and resources from recognized health organizations or experts.
• Consent and Respect: Any content discussing topics related to healthy relationships, consent, and emotional well-being is welcomed, as long as it respects the dignity of all individuals involved and is appropriate for general audiences.

Content that crosses the line into explicit, suggestive, or objectifying material will be removed and can result in account penalties. Content that focuses on providing education or discussion about sexuality in a respectful and responsible way will not be penalized, as long as it adheres to the platform's general guidelines of respect and appropriateness.

Content flagged as inappropriate will be removed. Repeat violations may lead to account suspension or permanent bans.

A. Policy Updates

Lifebonder may update these Community Guidelines and Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, or our values. B. User Acknowledgment

By continuing to use Lifebonder, you acknowledge and agree to the most recent version of the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. If you do not agree with the updated guidelines or terms, you should discontinue use of the platform.

C. Platform Changes

Lifebonder reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the platform or its services, either temporarily or permanently, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. We will strive to communicate major changes in advance, but some updates may be necessary for operational or legal reasons.

A. Automated Content Screening and Enforcement

• Flagging and Detection:
  • Content uploaded by users (e.g., text, images, videos) is screened using AI- based moderation tools. These tools analyze content for violations, including illegal material, violent or harmful speech, or explicit content.
  • Any flagged content is classified into categories (e.g., minor violation, severe violation) to ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
• Enforcement Measures:
  • Immediate Actions Severe violations, such as illegal content, are automatically removed and reported to relevant authorities within 24 hours as required by law.
  • Temporary Actions: For non-severe violations, flagged content is hidden pending human review within 48 hours to confirm or overturn the automated decision.
• Proportional Responses:
  • Users with minor infractions receive warnings.
  • Repeat offenders or severe violations may face temporary suspensions, account restrictions, or permanent bans depending on the case.

B. User Notification Process

If your content is flagged or removed, you will receive an immediate in-app notification. The notification will include:

• Reason for Flagging:

  A clear explanation of why the content was flagged or removed, referencing the specific guideline that was violated.

• Evidence:

  Any relevant details, such as flagged text or the context analyzed by the AI system.

• Appeal Process:

  A step-by-step guide on how to challenge the decision.

C. Appeals Process and Timelines

Users have the right to challenge moderation decisions. Lifebonder ensures a clear, accessible, and timely appeal process:

• Filing an Appeal
  • Users can submit an appeal directly through the platform by clicking the "Appeal Decision" button in the notification.
  • Appeals must include a brief explanation (e.g., why the content complies with the guidelines or relevant context).
• Timeline for Review:
  • Appeals are acknowledged immediately upon submission.
  • A human moderator will review the case and issue a decision within 7 calendar days of receiving the appeal.
  • If additional information is required from the user, the response timeline is paused until the requested details are provided.
• Outcome Notification:
  • Users will be notified of the appeal decision via in-app notification and email.
  • If the decision is upheld, a detailed explanation will be provided. If overturned, the content will be reinstated, and any penalties will be lifted.
• Further Recourse:
  • If users remain unsatisfied with the appeal decision, they can escalate the issue to an independent complaints mechanism (as required by DSA) or contact Lifebonder’s Ombudsman Service.
